Important when Changing Material
The temperature setting is determined by the processing temperature
prescribed by the material supplier. The maximum operating temperature for
the product described here and heated components may not be exceeded.
Nordson will grant no warranty and assume no liability for damage resulting
from incorrect temperature settings.
NOTE: The overtemperature thermostats must be adjusted (replaced) to
accommodate the maximum temperature of the material used. The
shutdown value of the thermostat may not exceed the maximum operating
temperature of the melter!
Also refer to Changing Type of Material and Purging with Cleaning Agent in
the section Maintenance.
Communication via Serial Interface
If a computer with the Nordson Configuration Manager software is
connected to the serial interface, the following is possible:
S Installation of melter firmware
S Transmission of operating parameters and setpoint temperatures
between melters
S Saving multiple variations of melter settings.
