Safety Valve Plate
Releasing Safety Valve Plate
WARNING: Hot! Risk of burns. Wear appropriate protective
clothing/equipment.
1. Heat the melter to operating temperature.
2. Empty tank.
3. Push the clamping lever (1, Fig. 5-10) upwards. The safety valve plate
(2, Fig. 5-10) is released.
4. Slide the safety valve plate forwards along the groove.

Replacing O-ring
5. Remove old O-ring (3, Fig. 5-10).
6. Clean sealing surfaces on tank, safety valve plate and pump.
7. Apply high temperature grease to O-ring and sealing surfaces.
Attach O-ring.
