Overview
You may want to test the serial ports when remote access does not work.
This chapter describes how to run serial port diagnostics on the CallPilot
server using the TSTSERIO command. Direct the TSTSERIO command
to serial ports on the server after services on these ports have been shut
down manually, as described in this chapter.
Shutting down services
This section describes how to shut down a service using a specific ser ial
port. Use the following procedures before invoking the TSTSERIO local
loopback tests.
CAUTION
By stopping the services on COM 1 or COM 2, you lose the
support access feature.
