Removing and replacing the upper fan holder foam
The interior of the server contains two layers of fan holder foam, which
secure and stabilize the cooling fans and add-in boards. The fan holder
foam also maintains the space that is required between the boards for
cooling. You may be required to remove the upper fan holder foam to access
and work with some components.
