Routing fiber to the ABM when no FPP is installed
Special tools required
There are no special tools required for completing this procedure.
Materials required
• split flex tubing, approximately 30 ft (9.12 m)
• fiber patch cords or pigtails (see Table 7-9, Table 7-10 on page 7-36 and
Table 7-11 on page 7-36)
Table 7-9 lists the ordering information for optical patch cords.
Note: Ensure that the type of connector on the patchcord is compatible
with the type of connectors on the OC-3 or OC-12 card in the ABM shelf
and with the type of connectors in the FPP.
