5 CT testing in MR Test mode
("New MR Test")

User Manual.
5.1 Preparing and configuring the test
1. Connect CT SB2, CT Analyzer and the CT under test as described in section 4.3 on page 18.
2. Switch on CT SB2 and CT Analyzer.
3. Select "New MR-Test" from the CT Analyzer main menu and press the OK soft key to initialize a
new test in the MR Test mode.
4. Enter the name plate data of the CT to the CT-Object card.

Refer to table 8-3 on page 38 for detailed information on the parameters.
Test execution is not possible if no data is specified for the I-pn parameter. All other parameters can
be assigned with default values and have to be adapted accordingly.

Parameter Description
I-pn Rated primary current.
I-sn Rated secondary current.
Standard Standard according to which the test has to be performed.
f Rated frequency of the CT.
P/M CT type. Set "P" for a protection CT or "M" for a metering CT.
Class Rated accuracy class of the CT.
