CP1E CPU Unit Hardware User’s Manual(W479)
The following restrictions apply to the CP-series Expansion Units and Expansion I/O Units that can be
connected to CP1E CPU Units.
z Maximum Number of Connectable Units
With a CPU Unit with 30 or 40 I/O Points, a total of up to three Expansion I/O Units and Expansion
Units can be connected to one CPU Unit. It is not possible to connect to Expansion I/O Units and
Expansion Units to a CPU Unit with 20 I/O Points.
