6 Normal operation
When the control unit / system is in normal operation (quiescent
state), i.e. no fire alarms, no faults, no disablements, no service
signals, no zones in test mode, no activated interlocking in / outputs,
no open doors and/or Alert Annunciation function not enabled, only
the LED "Operation" (L6) should be lit.
6.1 Alphanumeric display (LCD) in EBL512
In normal operation (quiescent state), some system information is
shown in the LCD in the control unit.
6.1.1 System information on the top (first) row
The display (LCD) will in normal operation and in quiescent state
show the information below.
The exact look is dependent on the convention / language:
YYYY-MM-DD EBL512 CU XX hh:mm:ss
User programmable information text.
Top (first) row

:
YYYY = Year, 2009
MM = Month, e.g. 02 (=February)
DD = Day, e.g. 28
CU XX = Control Unit; XX = 00-29
hh = hours, e.g. 21
mm = minutes, e.g. 45
ss = seconds, e.g. 45
Bottom (second) row:
The information on the bottom row (40 characters) can be created via
Win512, i.e. it is user definable.
6.1.2 LCD backlight
When the information above is shown in the LCD, the backlight is
OFF.
As soon as any other information (see below) is shown in the LCD,
the backlight is turned ON.

The information on the top row (40 characters) is included in the text file
downloaded in EBL512, i.e. the information could be different than the one
showed above.
NOTE! The way the date is
presented can be different
for different languages, e.g.:
DD-MM-YYYY.
