3.1 Gap between knife back and clamp edge

3. Clamping System
In addition to gap s between the knife back and the clamp edge, the play of the clamp in
its guideways in decisive for obtaining a good-quality and precise cut.
3.1 Gap between knife back and clamp edge
It is important that gap s is kept at its prescribed value to bring the clamping pressure as
close to the cutting line as possible. Gap s shown in Figure 7 should be be 0.2 + 0.1 mm.
