8.6.1 Adjusting the S69.1 clamp stroke limitation pedal switch
Activate clamp stroke limitation and adjust switch S69.1 on the pedal so that it will
deactivate this function before VDR comes into effect (clamp return).
Only after you keep pressing the pedal, VDR will respond, with the lifting movement
reversing into descending. This ensures that clamping cylinder Z will not receive
pressure via the main cylinder chamber despite STV is closed.
Two types of malfunctions are possible:
Problem Remedy
Clamp stroke limitation is not turned off. - When the pedal has been fully
pressed down, S69.1 is not sufficiently
released to change over.
⇒ Shift the switch further away.
No clamp stroke limitation takes place. - When the pedal has been fully
pressed down, S69.1 is not sufficiently
actuated to change over.
⇒ Put the switch closer.
In both cases, you should correct the switch position gently.
