11.4.2 Transferring data to the guillotine
After you have successfully established a physical connection between the server and
the machine, you can now transfer data via SMB or FTP.
Follow the steps below on the guillotine:
- Open the file (folder icon).
- Actuate the network icon on the touch screen.
- Select the SMB or FTP icon.
- Enter the data for the network connection to the server.
Manikin icon USER name: Service
House icon Computer name:
- for SMB: computer name
- for FTP: domain or
IP address: 192.168.1.2
Lock icon Password: Perfecta
Folder icon Shared folder containing CIP data: CIP-FTP

Important:
When a firewall is used enabling port 80 for external access to the FTP server is
mandatory. If you have any questions please ask your network administrator.
Use FTP for data import.
