4.3 Cutting mechanism maintenance
115/132/168/225 machines
Be sure to lubricate the knife beam guideways at the upper and lower positions of the
knife beam. Please refer to "Lubrication" in the Operating Manual. You will find a lu-
brication chart on the back of the machine.
For 168/225 cm machines, an optional centralized lubricating system coming into
effect while the machine in its normal position is available.
Always use the knives associated with the corresponding machine models
and cutting widths.
For PERFECTA machines of the same model and size, the knives are inter-
changeable. When changing knives, be absolutely sure that the tapped holes
in the knife are clean and the knife fixing bolts are not damaged.
When installing knives, do not use any setting gauges other than those be-
longing to the machine (the number of the gauge must coincide with the machine
serial number).
If the backgauge rake slide chips have worn down you can replace the same.
