Locking pin 1 is actuated by solenoid Y80, releasing the knife beam.
Locking pin 1 is guided by bush 2 and, when the solenoid is OFF, is needed to lock
the knife beam in conjunction with spring 3 if the clutch fails.
Sensors B81 and B82 monitor the position of the locking pin.
When the solenoid is energized the pin will move to its stop, whereby a gap of s = 2 – 3 mm
must be obtained between locking pin face 4 and knife beam guiding surface 5.
Adjust sensor bracket 6 on the solenoid axis so that is has a distance of 1.5 + 0.5 mm
to sensor B81 when the solenoid is OFF.
Adjust proximity switch B82 so that it will be actuated by the bracket when the sole-
noid is ON (after you have actuated the manual clutch switch – refer to "Manual
Cranking" in the Operating Manual). The distance should also be approx. 1.5 + 0.5 mm.
