Use threaded bolt 3 to tension and lock chain 1 which connects solenoid Y80 with safety
latch 2 so as to obtain a gap of s = 0.6 – 1.0 mm between safety latch 2 and safety latch
stop 4 while the solenoid is de-energized.
At this position, switching vane 5 must fully cover proximity switch B81. The distance
between the proximity switch and switching vane 5 must be 1.5 + 0.5 mm.
Adjust proximity switch B82 so that it will be actuated by vane 5 when the solenoid is ON
(after you have actuated the manual clutch switch – refer to "Manual Cranking" in the
Operating Manual).
Caution:
If the safety latch rests on the knife beam contour while Y80 is OFF proximity
switch B82 must not be actuated yet.
