Clamp stroke limitation (optional)
For working in normal cutting cycles, you can preselect (ON/OFF/AUTO) if you wish
to limit the clamp stroke after cutting.
This procedure is of particular importance for low to medium feed heights.
If you press the right-hand cut release pushbutton or the preclamping pedal, the
clamp will move to its topmost position. Releasing a new cut will re-activate clamp
stroke limitation.
If you preselect "AUTO", you will activate clamp stroke limitation. However, it will be
automatically discontinued, once the air bed function (or any handling functions such as
turning, pushout, …) comes into effect in the cutting cycle.
To cancel this mode of operation, you can change the preselection from the "Settings"
menu.
If no cut takes place for one minute, clamp stroke limitation will be temporarily deacti-
vated until the next cut is being made.
Knife thickness
" – " The knife thickness is within the minus tolerance range.
" + " The knife thickness is within the plus tolerance range.
Pushout measurement
It serves for easier stock handling after the last cutting position has been reached
before you will have to manually move or turn your pile.
The pushout measurement is a relative measurement, whose preset value you can
use for creating format programs.
You can always program the pushout measurement with its set value by pressing the
pushout key, as the control system will take into consideration the machine's minimum
measurement when executing a program.
Infeed position
It serves for easier stock feeding into the machine.
The preset lay measurement will be offered whenever you create a new program,
except its value is "0".
"Air bed ON" setting
• In menu section 33, you can tick various boxes (press the left-hand cut release
pushbutton once, twice or three times, or with the backgauge moving backward)
to preset any air-bed activation configuration.
"Air bed OFF" setting
• In menu section 34, you can tick various boxes (foot pedal, clamp lowering or cut
triggering) to preset any air-bed deactivation configuration.
