Repeat the measurement in at least 6
points on the disc
•
Check that the measurement does not
deviate over 0.1 mm
•
Remove the front brake calliper
•
Place the magnetic base with the dial
gauge on the break calliper support
bracket as shown in the photograph
•
Place the dial gauge on the disc outer
edge
•
Lift the front wheel, make it turn and
check the disc deviation

Front brake pads
Removal
•
Remove the front brake calliper
•
Remove the circlip of the pad retaining
pin as shown in the photograph
•
Using a key remove the pad retaining
pin, then remove the break pads
•
Check that the pads show no flaws or
warping. If there is, replace it.
•
Check that the thickness of the friction
material is over 1.5 mm. Otherwise, re-
place it
