waypoint
data into
a
particular
memory

type the desired Wpt memory

If the letter
‘7J”appears
below the Wpt # on the display,
‘U”signifies
that
the
Waypoint
memory is being ‘Used” or already has Latitude/Longitude
coordinate data memorized into that
Waypoint
memory. If both the letters
“U”
and
‘P”
appear below the
Waypoint
#
,
the letters signify that this Wpt
memory is both “Used” (Lat/Long memorized) and the memory contents
are ‘Protected” (cannot be overwritten).
When a
waypoint
is “Protected”, the contents of the memory may not be
changed or overwritten until the protection feature is removed. You can
“protect” and
‘un-protect”
your waypoints by following the procedure de-
scribed in the
Waypoint
List-SAVE function (see section 3.4.3.2.4) that
follows.
If the memory is protected, you can always enter a different memory
number or go to the
waypoint
list for a look at the available
waypoint
memories.
WAYPoINT
LIST Press this
softkey
to see a directory of the
waypoint
memories.
When the
WAYPoINT
LIST page appears, use the
A
(up)
/
v
(down)
direction keys (one at a time) to scroll through the memory
listings
in either
direction.
If the desired memory number is too far away
from the numbersdisplayed,just
pressthdw[
key, followed by the number of the desired mem-
ory (X,X,X,). Then
presslENTER]
.
The desired
memory will now become the selected location.

To
select memory number 023: Press

or edit the
