To use the Route Plan feature, press the

NAVIGATION menu.

Route Menu
Three operations are available on the ROUTE
MEN
U display, as follows:

SELECTROUT@
This operation will select a pro-
grammed route plan to follow.
IMAKEROUTJ31:
This operation can create a route
plan from the waypoints listed in the memories.

LISTROUTE
1-1
: This display shows the
waypoint
legs in the selected route plan and permits the
route plans to be edited, if required.

Selecting Routes
SELECT ROUTE is used whenever you want to fol-
low a route plan that you have already stored into
memory. The display is selected by pressing the

SELECT
ROUTE]
softkeywhen you are on the Route
menu screen.
On the SELECTROUTE display, you can select one
of the 10 route plans to follow,either automatically
or manually, in the forward or reversed direction.

To select a Route Plan use the

keys to set
the cursor indicator next to the route plan number that you wish to follow.
If you happen to select an empty route plan pressing
thelAun)lorl[
softkeys
will produce four audible chirps indicating an erroneous selection
has been made. Logically, a route plan must contain waypoints in order to
be selected for navigation.
The last menu entry at the bottom of the route selection list is RTE
SEQUENCE OFF. Use this selection to turn the route sequence operation to
OFF. Route sequence will also be turned OFF if you select a
waypoint
destination not contained in the route plan with
the-1
key.
