The speed and temperature will show numeric values which indicate that
incoming data is detected. The values displayed are not the actual readout
data, itself.

Calibrate Mode
Ordinarily the surface water temperature sensor can be calibrated over a
limited range to provide accurate temperature readouts on the echo
sounder display in the Calibration menu. If the correct temperature adjust-
ment range cannot be obtained, the echo sounder may be automatically
re-calibrated to the proper factorytemperature standard by
performing
the
following steps:

appears if the calibration has been successful. The unit will automatically
reset the internal temperature calibration value to approximately
