4. Slide the ARDF toward the front of the machine.
5. Secure the ARDF with the two knob screws [4].
6. Remove two screws [5] form the bottom of the ARDF.
7. Remove all tapes on the ARDF.
8. Place the platen sheet [6] on the exposure glass.
9. Align the rear left corner (of the platen sheet) with the corner [7] on the exposure glass.
10. Close the ARDF.
11. Open the ARDF and check that the platen sheet is correctly attached.
