ID Sensor Cleaning
The ID sensor is covered with a protective Mylar strip. This Mylar protects the ID
sensor from unwanted materials, such as toner dust, settling on the sensor. On the
protection Mylar is a second Mylar, the cleaning Mylar [A]. The cleaning Mylar is
attached to the lever [B] above the right rail of the paper tray.
Each time you insert of extract the paper tray from the printer, the cleaning Mylar
cleans the surface of the first Mylar strip, the protective Mylar.
