Temperature
• TS (170°C): The BCU controls the fusing lamp on/off time to maintain proper
fusing temperature.
• TA (185°C): The BCU de-activates relay (RY) located on the power supply. The
power to the fusing lamp is then removed, fusing is prevented and the printer will
not print.
• TPS: The fusing thermostats “break” (open) the electrical circuit to the fusing
lamp, fusing is disabled, and the printer will not print.
Energy Saver Mode
While the printer is in energy saver mode, the fusing lamp is off.
