Possible Cause
1) The transfer-belt cleaning unit is
lifted at incorrect intervals.
2) Contact failure of the cleaning unit's
bias terminal.
3) Failure of the high voltage unit.
Countermeasures
1) Check that the transfer-belt cleaning
unit is correctly installed.
2) Replace the high voltage unit.

Symptom
The print gloss is insufficient.
Possible Cause
1) The hot roller or the pressure
mechanism in the fusing unit is
damaged.
2) The fusing temperature is not
correctly controlled.
3) The paper type is not set correctly.
Countermeasures
1) Replace the fusing unit.
2) Check the mode setting of the paper.
