EXTERIOR COVERS
3. REPLACEMENT AND ADJUSTMENT
CAUTION
Set the power off and disconnect the printer before you remove any printer
parts.
3.1 EXTERIOR COVERS
3.1.1 TOP COVER
NOTE: It is strongly recommended to remove the following items when all covers
are removed.
Replacement
and
Adjustment
1. Fusing Unit
2. Waste Toner Bottle
3. Cleaning Roller Cover
4. OPC Belt Unit (properly protect from light-shock)
5. All development units
1. Open the top cover [A].
2. Operation panel [B]
( x 1, x 1)
3. Open the rear cover [C].
4. Open the front cover [D].
5. Top cover ( x 3)
NOTE: Unsnap the cover
from the front and
gradually work your
way around the covers,
carefully lifting the
edges as you proceed.
