6.7.3 PAPER FEED
Paper Feed Roller
The paper feed roller [A] moves the topmost sheet of paper, located in the paper
tray, forward and transports it to the registration roller. The friction pad [B] prevents
the sheet below the topmost from also being fed.
Drive
The main motor drives the paper feed clutch ( 6.1.3). When activated, the paper
feed clutch transfers the drive torque to the paper feed roller.
