5.3.3. PC Part
This displays ultrasound information generated by the Ultrasound System Part. It consists of the
Scan Converter and image output circuits. It also performs control panel and interface functions.
ADM supplies power to the PC Part.
The PC Part consists of the following:
• PC Module: Advantech, COM Express Module (SOM-5893)
• CPU: AMD 2.7GHz, R-Series
• RAM: DDR3 SDRAM 8GB
• Storage: SSD 512GB
• VGA : Internal Graphic Chip (Radeon HD9000)
5.3.4. User Interface Part
It consists of LED monitor, control panel, and touch screen, so that users can view and control
ultrasound images. Images are sent by the Ultrasound Part to the LED monitor and peripherals.
Image output includes VHS, S-VHS, Composite, and HDMI. In addition, it provides a function for
the user to customize the status via the control panel and touch screen.
The User Interface Part consists of the following:
• Monitor: 21.5” Full-HD Wide LED Backlight Panel (1920*1080)
• Touch Screen: 10.1” LED Backlight Panel (1280*800)
• Control Panel Board
• Trackball
• Key Matrix Board
• Alphanumeric K/B
5.3.5. Power Part
It converts external 110/230V AC voltage to the DC voltage which should be supplied to each
part of Ultrasound System as required. The ADM also supplies power to the PC part. The ADM
switch also works as a power circuit breaker and prevents any possible troubles due to
overcurrent.
