7.3. Error Messages
7.3.1. Error Occurs During Booting
This may be a temporary software error or it may indicate product failure.
1. Force shut down the system and turn it back on in 1 or 2 minutes.
2. If the problem is not solved even after trying the method described in 1, check when the error
message appears. If it appears when initiating Windows, it is possible that the OS and/or PC
parts may be defective. If it appears after displaying the product logo, it is possible that the
System Software and/or Ultrasound System part may be defective.
7.4. Image
7.4.1. 2D Mode: There is No IMAGE ECHO or IMAGE FORMAT
Contact between the probe and the product may be poor or the BE Board or PSU may have
failed.
1. Check whether the contact between the probe and the system is poor.
2. Check the probe for vibrating sound. If you can hear the sound, it is likely that the PSU has
failed.
3. If the problem is not solved even after trying the methods described in ’1’ and ’2’, it is likely
that the BE Board has failed.
7.4.2. Lines (Noise) Appear in 2D Mode Image
Power noise and/or PSU or BF Board failure may have occurred.
1. Check whether the product is sharing its power outlet with another appliance.
2. Sharing a power outlet with a motor or other appliance that consumes large amount of power
may cause noise.
3. Check whether the symptom persists when you plug the system into an outlet in a different
room.
4. If the noise occurs, it is caused by power noise.
5. If the problem is not solved even after trying the methods described in ’1’ and ’2’, it is likely
that the PSU or BF Board has failed.
7.4.3. M, C, PW, CW Mode Trouble
The PSU, BF, and/or BE Board may be defective.
