8.1. Preparation
This chapter describes the procedure for disassembling the HS40 system. Refer to this chapter
when you are upgrading the system’s hardware or providing repair services.
WARNING
Only Samsung Medison Co., Ltd’s service department or its authorized engineers are
allowed to repair or replace the parts of this product.
The interior of this product contains dangerous high-voltage electricity. Do not
disassemble the product. Otherwise, it may cause an electric shock
Do not wear an antistatic wrist strap while you are working with the product powered
on. Otherwise, you may sustain a physical injury from electric shock.
8.1.1. Preparation
You will need the following items: A Phillips (+) screwdriver, antistatic gloves, and an antistatic
wrist strap.
Turn off the power of the product and disconnect the battery.
NOTE
Wear antistatic gloves and an antistatic wrist strap when disassembling or
reassembling
the product. They help engineers avoid safety incidents and prevent product failures
caused by static electricity.
