7.1. Power Issues
7.1.1. Power Does Not Turn On
The power cord may be unplugged, the PSU may have failed to output the necessary voltage,
or the power socket may have failed.
1. Make sure the power cord is properly plugged in and the power switch is on.
2. Connect a different appliance to the power outlet to see whether it works.
If the appliance works, the power connection part has failed.
If the appliance doesn’t work, the power outlet has failed.
3. Check if the system fan works.
If the fan works, the problem is likely to be caused by reasons other than the power
connection part.
If the fan does not work, it is likely that the PC Power has failed.
4. Check the output voltage of the PSU.
7.1.2. Power Does Not Turn Off
The software is running or a software error may have occurred; alternatively, the PC Module
and/or BE may have failed.
1. Press and hold the Power button for at least 3 seconds and the power will turn off
automatically.
However, the power will not turn off if hardware such as the printer hasn’t stopped working
yet or if an OS error has occurred.
2. If the power doesn’t turn off even after trying the method described in 1, it is possible that the
PC Module and/or BE board may have failed.
7.1.3. Power Turns Off by Itself
It is likely that the Power Cord, PC Module, BE Board, Cable & Connector Pin (shorted), and/or
PSU may be defective.
1. Make sure the power cord is properly plugged in and the power switch is on.
2. Connect a different appliance to the power outlet to see whether it works.
If the appliance works, the power connection part has failed.
If the appliance doesn’t work, the power outlet has failed.
3. Check the LED status of the PSU.
4. If the power doesn’t turn off even after trying the methods described in 1’ and 2’, it is
possible that the PC Module, BE board, and/or PSU may have failed.
