HX MODEL
JET PUMP SUPPORT
GS, GSI, GSX, GTI, GTX, XP and HX Models
Removal
Remove jet pump. Refer to PROPULSION SYS-
TEM 08-02.
Remove inlet grate and riding plate.
Remove ball joint, boot, nut, half rings and O-rings
from steering cable.
TYPICAL
1. Unscrew nut
Remove ball joint, boot, nut, half rings and O-rings
from reverse cable (GTI and GTX models).
Remove boot and nut from VTS sliding shaft (XP,
GSI and GSX models).
Disconnect water supply hose, water return hose
and bailer hoses.

HX Model Only
Disconnect engine drain hose.
Disconnect engine exhaust hose.
