Fine Tune the Rail Level
Adjust middle leg feet until they are lightly touching the
ground.
Adjust the feet or shim the leg if the gantry wheels are
oating in relation to the rails. Continue adjusting until
the gantry rides smoothly.
Tip: Place a sheet of plywood or other material over
the cross supports at this time to serve as a temporary
workbench.
Install the YZ Car
The YZ car comes with the Z motor already mounted.
The two pairs of V wheels mount to the gantry rails.
The top two wheels (near the motor) are concentric and
should remain snug.
Remove the lower wheels (marked with a paint dot) using the 5/8”
wrench and the provided gantry wheel wrench.
Place the YZ car on the gantry. Ensure the wheels rest on the hard-
ened rail on the front of the gantry.
Loosely snug the bottom wheels and nuts so the V groove
captures the bottom rail.
