Attach Spindle
Hold the spindle up to the Z-axis extrusion and loosely attach
the six 5/16”-18 x 1-1/2” bolts to hold the spindle in place.
Use shims or an assistant to hold the spindle plate threads level
with the Z-axis through holes.
Replace Stop Screw
If the Z-axis stop screw was removed, reinstall it.
Install it snug and test the Z travel to ensure the
screw stops travel before the pinion leaves the
rack.
