Section 11. Secure Table and Spoil Board
Introduction
These instructions are based on a ShopBot PRSalpha 96-48. Larger or smaller table sizes will require
additional baseboards and/or cutting material to t.

NOTE: If table size is greater than 96x48”, it will be necessary to tile multiple sheets to cover the full
working area.
Refer to the table drawing for specs and measurements specific to machine.
Base Layer
The base layer should be a sheet of 3/4” cabinet-grade plywood. This is the foundation of the work-
bed, and will likely last the life of the tool. When choosing plywood, keep in mind that a higher number
of plies typically creates a more stable board that is less likely to warp.
