The bottom set of wheels are also eccentric and will
change position as they are rotated. This allows the ten-
sion of the wheels against the rail to be adjusted.
Use the gantry wheel wrench to rotate the wheel until it engages
the rail. Hold the wrench in place while snugging the nut with an
adjustable wrench.
Repeat for the other wheel.
Test and adjust wheel tension
Test each wheel by holding it rmly while moving the YZ car (be mindful not to pinch ngers). When it’s
possible to just stop the wheel, tighten the nut an additional 1/16th of a turn. Test again to ensure each
wheel stays snug along the entire rail.
Note: Do not over tighten the wheels. This will stress the bearings, creating binding, and reducing
component life.
Install wheel covers for YZ car and gantry.
