5 Mounting
5.1 Safety
Important information
DANGER
D
eath or severe injury due to electrical voltage and/or an unexpected startup of the
machine
Make sure that the machine is (and remains) disconnected from the voltage
supply during mounting and electrical installation.
Make sure that the dangerous state of the machine is and remains switched off.
NOTICE
T
he optics cover of the safety laser scanner is an optical component.
Do not contaminate or scratch the optics cover during unpacking and mounting.
Prevent fingerprints on the optics cover.
5.2 Unpacking

5.3 Fitting the system plug

Approach
1. Carefully insert the system plug into the safety laser scanner.
2.
Screw in the system plug using the captive screws. Tightening torque: 1.3Nm.
