6.6.2.4 Replace 2.5" and 3.5" drive in drive cage Type B
Replacing the 2.5" type B drive cage corresponds to that for type A.
Removal procedure - Two drives on the frame
1. First disconnect the cables from the upper drive as shown.
2. Remove the marked screws.
3. Now carefully pull out the two drives and disconnect the cables of the lower drive.
4. Remove the drives.
5. Remove the mounting bracket.
Installation procedure - 2 drive on the frames
Pay attention to the following when attaching the mounting bracket:
● That the groove shown is visible on the top of the drive.
● That you tightly screw on the side with the elongated hole (tolerance compensation).
1. Attach the mounting bar to the SSD drive.
2. Place the drives on the frame.
3. Connect the cables (SATA and power separated
②) to the lower drive.
