An alternative branch consists of at least two horizontally arranged sequences
but only one of these is processed by batch control, depending on the status
of the first transitions in the sequences.
Note
You should configure the transitions in the detail masks in such a way that
only one branch is guaranteed to be processed.
With an alternative branch a sequence can be jumped or several alternative
branches implemented.
