7.1 Tasks of batch data management
Batch data management is an optional software package which can be
supplied with BATCH flexible. It hasn’t an own user interface. It consists of
the application Batch Data Preparation and a number of batch management
functions from the BATCH flexible Object Manager (BOM).
With this application the messages and measured values collected by the OS
system are prepared and archived on a batch basis. Batch data preparation is
an essential requirement for the complete logging and exporting of batch
data.
