Supply voltage L+/M
With a dark BaseUnit, the supply voltage of the left BaseUnit is used.
The electronic weighing system monitors whether the supply voltage is connected.
Load cell connection
In case of 6-wire load cells, the supply voltage is measured over the terminals 1 (SEN+) and 7
(SEN-) and used as reference. A voltage drop on the load cell cable does not have an effect on
the measurement.
You can connect 4-wire as well as 6-wire load cells. The electronic weighing system is set for
operation with 6-wire load cells in the factory.
If the power of the electronic weighing system-internal power supply of the load cells is not
sufficient, use an external power supply source to supply the load cells.
Note
Compensate for interferences when connecting 4-wire load cells
If you use 4-wire load cells, we recommend that you use a 6-wire cable between the electronic
weighing system and the terminal box.
● Set a wire jumper in the terminal box between EXC+/SEN+ and EXC-/SEN-.
The wire jumper compensates for interferences between the electronic weighing system
and the terminal box.
