DME Special Effect Operations
a) Pattern images are the same as standard wipes (see “Wipe Pattern List” (page 409) in the
Appendix). However, the only patterns supported in Version 3.00 are pattern No. 21 Box
and pattern No. 24 Circle.
• 16:9 mode

Appendix). However, the only patterns supported in Version 3.00 are pattern No. 21 Box
and pattern No. 24 Circle.
To select a pattern, press [Pattern Select] in the Mask menu and select it
from the Pattern Select menu.
Press any pattern from among the displayed standard wipe patterns 1 to 24.
This selects the pattern, and you can now adjust the following parameters.
The valid ranges of the parameter values depend on the aspect ratio (4:3/
16:9) selected in the system, as follows.
•4:3 mode
• 16:9 mode
