cm away to change the status to NOT COVERED. In case the sheet needs to be less than 10
cm from the sensor to change the status to COVERED, then the sensor in not sensitive
enough. When the sheet needs to be moved further away than 20 cm to have the status NOT
COVERED, then the sensor is too sensitive. In those cases, replace the Ultrasonic Sensor
(395-975). The Ultrasonic sensor is wired to connector J14 on the main board.
Voltages can be measured with reference to the black wire (pin 7): red wire (pin 4) is +5V
DC and powers the Ultrasonic Sensor. Brown wire (pin 6) is almost 0V, and triggers the
sensor. Orange wire (pin 5) is almost 0V when the US sensor is covered, +5V when
uncovered. The pins 1 (red) and 2 (black) are used to drive the motor of the roll-up. Check
voltage: when rolling up, the voltage is about +30V DC, when unrolling, the voltage is about
-30V DC. The motor is driven by U20.
