Tester range: Ω (Resistance)
Measure the spark plug cap resistance.
Spark plug cap resistance: 8 – 12 kΩ
If measurement is out of specification, replace the spark plug
cap.
EMERGENCY & ENGINE STOP SWITCH

Tester range: (Continuity)
Check continuity/infinity between the wiring leads under the con-
dition shown below.
Note 1: Remote control model
Note 2: Tiller handle model
If out of specification, replace the engine stop switch.
