• Remove t he gearshift shaft G) by removi ng the snap ring ~.
• Remove the gearshift pawl lifter @ and gearshift cam driven
gear @) .
• Remove the gearshift cam stopper arm @.
• Remove the gearshift cam driven gear bolt.
• Hold the generator rotor using a 27· mm offset wrench, and
then remove the balancer driven gear nut.
• Remove the washer. balancer driven gear, and pin.
• Hold the generator rotor using a 27-mm offset wrench , and
t
he n remove the primary dr ive gear nut, washer and primary
drive gear.
The primary drive gear nut has left -hand threads .
