2�4�1 Duties of the operating company
Users of the TEKA pan mixer must train their employees in the following topics:
► Observation and use of the operating instructions and legal stipulations
► Intended use
► Behaviour in emergencies
2�4�2 Responsibilities of the operating company
The operating company is responsible for ensuring the following:
► The machine is used only for its intended use.
► The machine is operated only when fully functional and safe for use.
► Warning signs on the machine are easily readable.
► The machine is protected from unauthorized use.
► The necessary personal protective equipment is available.
► The necessary personal protective equipment is worn.
► Only authorized personnel have access to the machine.
► The authorized personnel are suciently qualied.
► The authorized personnel have been instructed in all applicable work safety issues.
► Repairs are only carried out by service personnel after consultation with the manufacturer.
► Any found defects or abnormal operating states/disturbances are rectied immediately.
► The operation of the machine is stopped whilst troubleshooting measures take place.

2�5�1 Duties of the machine operator
Personnel using the machine must:
► Be trained and instructed in using and cleaning the machine
► Use the machine in the intended way
► Wear the necessary personal protective equipment
► Immediately stop the machine from being used in the case of defects or abnormal operating
states/malfunctions.
► Immediately report any found defects or abnormal operating states/malfunctions
2�5�2 Responsibility of the machine operator
Personnel using the machine must ensure that:
► The machine is protected from unauthorized use.
► The machine is operated only when fully functional and safe for use.
► The machine is maintained as described in the "Servicing" chapter.
