2�8 Check as per VBG 4 § 5 (1) No� 2 (national regulations)
The operating company must ensure that the electrical system of the mixer is checked every
six months to make sure it is in good working order. This check is only allowed to be carried
out by a specialist electrician or by a person instructed in electrical engineering as long as suit-
able testing devices are used.
2�9 Safe working practices
► The machine may only be used if it is in a technically awless condition, is used in accord-
ance with its intended use and with due consideration of safety considerations and dan-
gers, and if the operating instructions are observed.
► If any malfunctions occur, the machine must be switched o immediately and secured. You
must rectify or arrange for the rectication of malfunctions that might impair safety immedi-
ately.
► Check the machine for any noticeable damage and defects at least once each shift. Any
changes to the machine, including changes to its operating behaviour, must be reported to
the responsible body immediately. Switch the machine o and secure it.
► In the case of safety-relevant changes to the machine - including changes to its operating
behaviour - switch the machine o immediately and report the malfunction to the responsi-
ble body.
► Observe all safety signs and warnings on the machine and keep them in a legible state.
► The machine operator must ensure that the surrounding area is free from obstacles and
persons by means of a visual check before starting up the machine.
► The machine operator must make sure that there are no loose objects on the machine by
means of a visual check before starting up the machine.
► The machine operator must check the function and state of the safety equipment.
► The machine operator must direct any workers still in the danger area to leave the area and
must alert them to the dangers.
► Only use suitable tools for servicing and repair work.
► Only make changes and alterations to the machine or its components with the written con-
sent of TEKA Maschinenbau GmbH.
► Dispose of operating materials, consumables, and old replacement parts in the proper
manner and in an environmentally friendly way.
► Observe the safety data sheets of the substance manufacturer in the case of operating
materials and consumables.
► Wear personal protective equipment if prescribed by law or necessary.
► Provide instruction in relation to re extinguishing equipment and measures.
► The safety equipment may only be dismantled by instructed operating personnel.
