2�6 Organizational measures
► These operating instructions must always be kept at hand at the place of use of the
machine.
► In addition to the operating instructions, generally valid legal regulations and other regula-
tions relating to accident prevention and environmental protection must be observed and
brought to the attention of personnel.
This might include the following:
● Regulations on handling hazardous substances
● Personal protective equipment
● Tracregulations
● Monitoring and reporting obligations
● Work processes
● Regulations relating to personnel
2�6�1 User prerequisites
► Only reliable, entrusted persons are allowed to work on the machine.
► Personnel must meet minimum age requirements.
► Use only trained or instructed personnel.
► Clearly dene responsibilities for operating, setting up, maintaining, and repairing the
machine.
► Personnel and trainees who are being trained, taught, or instructed are allowed to work on
the machine only under the supervision of an experience person.
► Servicing and repair work on mechanical components and supply systems for e.g. elec-
tricity, water, compressed air, and hydraulics is allowed to be carried out only by specied
experts with due observation of the relevant rules and regulations.
► Personnel must not wear long hair loose, wear loose clothing, or wear jewellery, rings, or
bracelets. Risk of getting caught up or pulled in.
2�6�2 Qualicationofpersonnel
Only instructed persons or experts are allowed to work with and on the machine.
An expert is a person who, due to his or her expert training, knowledge, and experiences as
well as knowledge of applicable conditions, is able to assess work entrusted to him or her, rec-
ognize possible dangers, and implement appropriate safety measures.
An expert must observe the applicable technical regulations.
The responsibility of personnel for operating, servicing, and maintaining the machine must be
clearly dened by the operating company of the machine and observed.
In particular, the responsibility for working on electrical and pneumatic equipment must be de-
ned. Such work may only be carried out by trained experts.
