5�8�1 Information on transport with forklift
● The machine operator must be authorized to drive the forklift.
● In normal cases, the pallet is transported with the forklift positioned between the cross
beams of the pallet.
● Unless specied otherwise in the transport papers, the centre of gravity of the pallet is in
the centre of these cross beams.
● If the centre of gravity is not in the centre, this is made clear in the transport papers and on
the transport unit by means of the international sign as per ISO R/780 (International Organi-
zation for Standardization) and DIN 55 402 (Deutsches Institut für Normung).

5�8�2 Transporting the machine to the place of installation
The machine is transported to the place of installation using an industrial truck.
The following are considered to be industrial trucks: Forklifts and pallet trucks.
In the case of forklifts, pay attention to the load-bearing capacity (permitted load) and fork
length.
In the case of pallet trucks, pay attention to the load-bearing capacity and contact area of the
machine on the forks (stability).
