5�9 Erection
We recommend that you arrange for the machine to be erected by employees of
TEKA Maschinenbau GmbH.
5�10 Securing the plant
Attach all dismounted parts again and make sure that they are in perfect working order.
5�11 Connection
The machine can only be connected up by specialist personnel. All local regulations and legal
stipulations must be observed.
Check the available mains voltage and frequency to make sure that they match the values on
the nameplate.

5�12 Storage and preservation
You must observe the following points in order to keep a machine that is not being used in
working order, even for a long period:
● The storeroom must be dry and clean.
● The machine must not be exposed to extreme heat or cold.
● The machine must be placed horizontally on a at oor to prevent it from moving.
● The machine must be cleaned and exposed metal parts must be given a lm of acid-free oil
to protect against corrosion.
● The entire machine must be covered so that no dirt and dust can get in.
5�13 Information on placing the machine back into operation
Before placing the machine back into operation after a longer period of storage, the following
work must be performed:
● Check all machine components that have lubricant/lled substances and renew these if
necessary.
● Check all safety equipment and replace any damaged components immediately.
● Clean and check the entire machine in accordance with the maintenance schedule.
