Transport
5�8�4 Transport with a crane
Place the machine onto a pallet and secure to the pallet using fastening brackets.
Use transport harnesses and observe the permitted load.
Observe the permitted crane load. Otherwise, the instructions for transport with a forklift
apply.
5�8�5 Unloading the machine from the pallet
Drive the forklift under the crosspieces of the base frame and lift the machine. The forklift must
have a su󰀩cient load-bearing capacity and fork length.
Unpack the machine and check it for transport damage.
Detach the machine xings from the wooden pallet.
Undo the screws on the fastening brackets.
Lift the machine and move away, or remove the wooden
pallet.
When lifting the machine, make sure that the centre of
gravity of the machine is between the forks of the forklift.
If an unstable machine position is noted during lifting, put
the machine down, approach it with the forklift again, and
lift again.
Place the machine down evenly onto its feet.
