Select "Bluetooth setup" and
check that "Mode" is set to "Slave".
• Only "Slave" can be selected
when the ES is shipped.
3. Set "Authentication". Select "Yes"
or "No". If "Authentication" is set to
"Yes" for the ES, the passkey will
also need to be input on the
companion device.
4. When "Authentication" is set to
"Yes", input the same passkey as
that for the intended companion
device. Even if "Authentication" is
set to "No", a passkey is
requested when authentication is
set on the companion device
being used.
• Up to 16 numeral characters can
be input. "0123" is the factory
setting. Input characters will be
displayed as asterisks (e.g.
"*****").
